     Windies enter 1st innings reply to England

It’s stumps on day 2 of the 1st Test between the West Indies and England at North Sound. At close of play, the West Indies are 155/4 in the 1st innings, in reply to England’s score of 399 all out. The Englishmen started the second day on 341/5 before Windies bowlers took the 5 remaining wickets, leaving England bowled out for 399. Ben Stokes was unbeaten on 71 before Jerome Taylor dismissed him for 79. This left Jimmy Anderson with 20, and Barbados-born Chris Jordan with 21 not out. As for the Windies bowlers: Kemar Roach took 4/94 from 29, Jerome Taylor 3/90 from 20, Jason Holder 2/69 from 25. As mentioned, the hosts closed the day on 155/4 in the 1st innings, with Shiv Chanderpaul on 29 and Jermaine Blackwood on 30. The West Indies trail by 244 runs with 6 wickets remaining.
