World Cup 2015: Dilshan gives Sri Lanka upper hand against Bangladesh

Tillakaratne Dilshan earned himself a man-of-the-match title for his role with Sri Lanka, who beat Bangladesh by 92 runs at the Cricket World Cup in Melbourne. An unbroken 2nd wicket partnership was made between Dilshan on 161 and wicket keeper Kumar Sangakkara on 105; that was before the opening stand of 122 between Dilshan and Lahiru Thirimanne, who made 52. Sri Lanka’s the only side to lose just one wicket in a 50-over innings, finishing with 332/1. Bangladesh were bowled out for 240; Sabbir Rahman batted 53, and Shakib Al Hasan added 46. Sri Lanka fast bowler Lasith Malinga took 3/35 from 9 overs.
