Moeen Ali's century was the key to England's first victory in the Cricket World Cup; they beat Scotland by 119 runs in Christchurch, New Zealand. Ali, the player of the match, made 128 to push the Englishmen to 303/8 from 50 overs; Ian Bell made 54, and captain Eoin Morgan made 46. Scotland bowler Josh Davey took 4/68 from 10 overs.
