World Cup 2015: England's Ali stuns Scotland with opening century

Moeen Ali’s century was the key to England’s first victory in the Cricket World Cup; they beat Scotland by 119 runs in Christchurch, New Zealand. Ali, the player of the match, made 128 to push the Englishmen to 303/8 from 50 overs; Ian Bell made 54, and captain Eoin Morgan made 46. Scotland bowler Josh Davey took 4/68 from 10 overs. Opener Kyle Coetzer made 71, but the Scots ran out of steam in their reply of 184 all out. Bowling for England, Steven Finn picked up 3/26 from 9 overs.
