World Cup 2015: Rahat Ali to replace Junaid Khan for Pakistan

Feb 5, 2015 | Cricket, Sports | 0 comments

Pakistan have chosen fast bowler Rahat Ali to replace Junaid Khan in their World Cup tour. Khan was ruled out of the tournament after failing a fitness test due to a thigh injury. Ali has played 11 Test matches and only one ODI; that was against Sri Lanka back in 2012. He hasn’t played internationally since the UAE Test against New Zealand in November. Still, the Pakistani selectors think Ali is ready for their World Cup debut against India on February 15.
