In a surprise move, rapper Drake released a surprised album via Twitter last night. This is after Drake appeared in a 15 minute art film “Jungle” earlier that same day. Drake tweeted a link to the project entitled “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late” just before midnight. The album has 17 tracks and features Lil Wayne, Travi$ Scott & PartyNextDoor, and is available on Soundcloud or iTunes for $12.99!
When Drake appeared in Jungle yesterday, some fans were already anticipating new music, still the album was a pleasant surprise to many of his fans. However this is not unprecedented, the tactic was used back in December 2013 by Beyonce, when she successfully released her self-titled fifth album without notice or promotions.

“If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late” was released almost six years after Drake released his critically acclaimed mixtape in 2009. Last July, the rapper announced that he would be releasing his next album titled “View From the 6”, which is a reference to the his hometown Toronto. It is still left to be seen, whether this is the same album being renamed or something to fill the gap until the release of his Drake’s next studio album.
