Fellas… It’s Here!
Gucci unveiled its collection for Fall/Winter 2014 at Milan Fashion week. A scaled-back assembly of essential layering items, the Italian fashion house sought to contrast its pattern- and tech-heavy Spring 2014 offering with a relatively minimalist aesthetic – although the idea of utility remains strong.
Pockets are seamlessly integrated into chest and waist areas on leather jackets and blazers, while materials such as leather, brushed wool, and velvet accentuate the smoothness of other silhouettes. Crisply tailored shirts and perfectly cropped thin trousers underline the distinct, contemporary Italian current running throughout the collection.
