Heavy rain in Mohali reduced the latest match to 10 overs a side, but it sure didn’t dampen the spirits of Kings XI Punjab, who beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 22 runs. Kings XI hit 106/6 from a reduced 10 overs, including 31 from wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha. Bowling for RCB, Harshal Patel took 2/12 from 2, and Yuzvendra Chahal 2/25 from 2. Mandeep Singh did his best with 20 but RCB fell flat with 84/6 from a reduced 10 overs. Kings XI’s Axar Patel became player of the match; he took 2/11 from 2, and Anureet Singh took 2/21 from 2.
