Satchel and Jackson Lee, the daughter and son of award-winning director Spike Lee, are the 2021 Golden Globe Ambassadors.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) announced the honours on Jan. 12.
As part of their duties, the siblings will assist with the 78th Golden Globe Awards on Feb. 28 and raise awareness for a social cause of their choice.
Satchel will support Callen-Lorde, an organization that provides healthcare to the LGBTQIA+ communities in New York City. Jackson will support youth mentorship in underserved communities through Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Both organizations will receive a $25,000 grant from the HFPA made on the Lees’ behalf.
