International cricket has returned to Pakistan. The men in green are celebrating in their first match at home in six years, as they beat Zimbabwe by 5 wickets in the 1st T20 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Zimbabwe hit 172/6 from 20 overs; captain Elton Chigumbura made 54, and Hamilton Masakadza made 43. Pakistan bowler Mohammad Sami picked up 3/36 from 4, and Wahab Riaz 2/38 from 4. Man of the match Mukhtar Ahmed struck 83 as the hosts replied with 173/5 from 19.3 overs; Ahmed Shehzad added 55. Bowling for Zimbabwe, Graeme Cremer took 2/28 from 4 overs. Pakistan lead the 2-match series 1-0, with the second T20 this Sunday at the Gaddafi Stadium.
