Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has resigned due to knee surgery that he says will keep him from doing his job. The 67-year-old has managed at Loftus Road since 2012, and leaves the club second-last in the Premier League table, with 19 points from 23 matches. Head of football operations Les Ferdinand and academy coach Chris Ramsey will take over temporarily, ahead of QPR’s Saturday game at home to Southampton.
